
Paranacilin 50% ws
1 g of the drug contains:
Ampicillin Trihydrate 500 mg
Dosage:
Poultry: 40 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Calves and Lambs: 1 gm / 10 kg of body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Description:
Ampicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin with a broad spectrum activity against a
large number of Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria. Ampicillin acts
bactericidal by interfering with the cell wall synthesis of bacteria.
Indications:
Ampicillin effects against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria like: E.coli, salmonella, clostridia, staphylococcus and streptococcus.
Paranacilin 50% is indicated for the treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal
tracts infections in poultry, calves and lambs.
Paranacilin 50% is indicated for the treatment of necrotic and ulcerative enteritis,
omphalitis and intestinal diarrhea in poultry.
Paranacilin 50% is indicated for the treatment of different intestinal diarrhea and
respiratory tracts infections which are caused by different spps of bacteria in calves
and lambs.
Withdrawal period:
Treated Animals and poultry products should not be used for human consumption
during treatment and within 4 days from the last dose.
Storage:
Store in dry place at temperature below 30◦C.
