Each1 g contains the active ingredients:
Ciprofloxacin 100 mg
Gentamicin sulfat 50mg
Dosage:
Orally with drinking water or feed once a day for 3-5 days at the following doses
dose:
Calves: less than one year, pigs – 1 g of the drug per 10 kg of body weight;
Poultry (broilers and breeding herds) – 0.5-1.0 g per 1 -2 liter of drinking water.
If the medicament is used with drinking water – prepare a solution at the required
volume of drinking water (depending on the supply standard of drinking water for
particular age category of poultry) once a day.
Prepare a fresh solution of the drug every day.
The shelf life if mixed with feed – 24-36 hours, if dissolved in water – 24 hours.
Description:
CIPROGEN is a combined preparation that contains two antibiotics. As a result of
the synergy of the active ingredients, the effectiveness of Ciprocol is significantly
higher than its individual components.
Ciprofloxacin – is an antibiotic from fluoroquinolones group. It’s active against
gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, especially against Е.coli, Salmonella
spp., Shigella spp., Enterobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Serratia spp.,
Camphylobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Yersinia spp., Vibrio spp., Aeromonas spp., Haemophilus spp., to the preparation are also sensitive: Brucella
spp., Staphylococcus spp. (including penicillinase-producing and methicillin-resistant strains), Mycoplasma spp., Mycobacterium spp.. The mode of action of
ciprofloxacin is the inhibition of bacterial DNA – gyrase (topoisomerase II), thus
stopping the process of replication of DNA.

Gentamicin – an antibiotic that belongs to a group of aminoglycosides. It is active
against the gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms: Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella spp., some species
of Proteus spp. and Serratia spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella multocida,
Starhylococcus aureus, Serpulina hyodysenteriae, Mycoplasma spp.
The mechanism of action of the preparation is to block protein synthesis in bacterial cells.
Approximately 30% of the antibiotic(gentamicin) is bound to plasma proteins.

Indications:
Calves less than a year, pigs: treatment of animals suffering from sepsis, arthritis
and in cases of diseases of the digestive system (gastritis, enteritis, peritonitis), respiratory (tonsillitis, tracheitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia) and the
urogenital tract (nephritis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, urocystites, metritis,
mastitis) of the skin (dermatitis), and in case of secondary infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to gentamicin and Ciprofloxacin .
Poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese): treatment of the poultry suffering from
septicemia, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis caused by microorganisms
sensitive to gentamicin and Ciprofloxacin.
Contra-Indication:
Hypersensitivity to Ciprofloxacin and gentamicin.
Do not use in animals with severe renal and hepatic function, organs of hearing and
balance.
Do not use simultaneously with tetracyclines, macrolides, lincosamides, chloramphenicol, and with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Do not use simultaneously with other antibiotics – aminoglycosides or with antibiotics that share the nephrotoxic (polymyxin B, colistin, amphotericin, chloramphenicol, cephalosporin, erythromycin), as well as muscle relaxants and anesthetic drugs,
of sulfanilamides, heparins, vitamins group B, diuretics (furosemide).
Do not use for horses treatment.
Do not administer to laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
Withdrawal times:
– For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep : 14 days.
Swine : 8 days.
Poultry : 7 days.

Store in a dry dark place out of the reach of children at 0-25 °С
