Parana ENRACIN 2%

Parana ENRACIN 2%

Composition:

1 g of the drug contains:
enramycin 20 mg

Dosage:

Orally with feed 200 to 300 g of the drug per 1000 kg of feed.

Description:

Enramycin is an antibiotic of the polypeptide group, which acts bactericidal, mainly on gram-positive microorganisms (Clostridium perfringens, Streptococcus spp.,
Staphylococcus spp.). It is not absorbed from the digestive tract, therefore, it makes
impact exclusively upon intestinal microflora. It inhibits growth of microorganisms
producing ammonia, facilitating reduction of the ammonia level in digestive tract.
Enramycin is not detected in tissues and body fluids. It is excreted in feces.
The mechanism of action consists in dysfunction of the cell membrane of
microorganisms by inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis in the bacterial cell wall.
The resistance of bacteria to enramycin develops slowly. No resistance of
Clostridium perfringens is observed. Microorganisms do not show cross-resistance
between enramycin and other antibacterial drugs.

Indications:

Treatment of poultry and swine in diseases of the digestive tract caused by
microorganisms sensitive to enramycin

Benefits:

Improves flock intestinal health, resulting in better feed efficiency
Improves growth performance at very low inclusion levels
Improves weight gain and feed conversion

Reduces wet droppings in poultry
No cross-resistance between Enramycin HCl and other available antibiotics
No detectable residues in tissues
It is stable in the pelleting process and in feeds
No withdrawal period

Storage:

Store in a dry dark place out of the reach of children at temperature 5°C – 25°C.
