1 g of the drug contains:
diclazuril 10 mg
Dosage:
Broilers: 100 grams DICLAMAX per ton of feed from day old to five days before
slaughter.
Replacement pullets: 100 grams per ton of feed from day old to 7 days before
start of laying period.
Turkeys: 200 grams per ton of feed from day old to maximum 14 weeks. It should
be properly mixed with feed.It has no negative effect on egg production and hatchability even at 5 times its therapeutic dose.
For better result, mix DICLAMAX first with 20-50 kilograms of feed thoroughly, and
then add it to main volume of feed and mix properly again.
Description:
Diclazuril is an anticoccidial of the benzeneacetonitrile group. It acts against all
eimeria species in poultry (Eimeria acervulina, Е. brunetti, Е. maxima, Е. mitis, Е.
necatrix, Е. tenella, Е. adenoeides, Е. gallopavonis, Е. meleagrimitis etc.), eimeria in
rabbits (Е. flavescens, Е. intestinalis, Е. magna, Е. perforans, Е. stiedaе, etc.), cattle,
sheep, goats and swine, causing disorders in energetic metabolism processes of
endogenous cycle of coccidia development. Asexual forms of endogenous cycle of
eimeria development are the most sensitive to the drug.
Diclazuril is not accumulated in organs and tissues of animal bodies and does not
cause any negative impact even in case of major overdosing (20-25 times of the
recommended doses).
Contra-indications:
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to diclazuril.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of diseases in poultry (broiler chickens, young ducks,
geese, pheasants, turkeys), cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, swine caused by various
Eimeria species.
Side effect:
If the drug is administered in recommended doses, side effects do not appear.
Special precautions for administration:
The drug is thoroughly mixed with feed: First it is mixed with a small amount of feed
(3-10 % of the total), and then the resulting mixture is mixed with the rest of the
feed.
Do not apply concurrently with other drugs against coccidia.
