Parana AMPI COL ws
1 g of the drug contains:
Ampicillin Trihydrate 200 mg
Colistin Sulphate 600000 IU
Dosage:
Poultry: 100 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Calves and Lambs: 1 gm / 10 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.
Indications:
AMPI COL contains Ampicillin which is a broad spectrum antibiotic which belongs
to penicillin group and it has a highly bacteriacidal effects against Gram positive and
Gram negative bacteria.
AMPI COL contains Colistin which is antibiotic poly peptides (Polymyxin) which is
effective against Gram negative bacteria, and characterized by low absorption from
the gastrointestinal tract, so it is a highly effective for the treatment of different
gastrointestinal tract infections which are caused by different bacteria spps.
AMPI COL indicated for the treatment of enteric infections, necrotic enteritis, ulcerative enteritis, enterotoxaemia and also respiratory infections and other infections
in poultry.
AMPI COL is also indicated for the treatment of diarrhea, intestinal infections and
pneumonia infections in calves and lambs.
Whithdrawal Period:
Treated animals and poultry products should not be used for human consumption
during treatment and within 5 days from the last dose.
Storage:
Store in dry place at temperature below 30° C.
